WNY Sport and Travel Expo
Come visit and talk ducks at the WNY Sport and Travel Expo
We will be manning the booth and discussing all things Delta Waterfowl
Memberships sign ups available and we will be raffling of an item for free to those who sign up.
Region 8 Nesting structure install day
Join us in volunteering to clean out wood duck boxes, cleanout/ recpack hen tubes, and install new mallard hen tubes at the Tonawanda, John White, and Oak Orchard WMA's.
We will be meeting at the Sprout Marsh overlook South of 77 just East of East Ruddy Marsh.
We will have a job to fill, even if you cannot wade into the marsh
Useful items to bring:
Kayak/canoe
utility trailer
pliers(linesman pliers ideal)
cutting dikes
hog ring pliers
jet sled(s)
Clothing:
Waders
weather appropriate clothing
waterproof jacket/gloves likely needed
fold up chair to sit for lunch
8 AM meetup to sign liability forms and a show and tell
815 start time
1(ish) lunch provided
Please remember volunteers under 18 will need parental consent, and all volunteers will be asked to fill out a waiver.

State and Delta volunteer paperwork will need to be filled out and signed. You can click the link below to print and sign and bring with you. If you filled out the state paperwork last year you are good to go on that, just a delta liability form will need to be filled out.
The Public NYS Volunteer paperwork will also need to be filled out and a copy of your drivers licence provided. This needs to be done prior to the event and emailed to us.

Olcott Polar Bear plunge
Who wants to join in on some fun while helping not one charity but multiple?
We are doing the The Olcott Polar Bear Swim once again this year in March.
The Lions are kinda enough that with every dollar we raise for the swim, to come back to WNY Delta!
We have a great time doing good for the community. If you would be so kind as to donate to some of us crazies who jump in the icy waters of Lake Ontario, we can all make WNY a better place!
We will tailgate as normal with a wild game spread before hand and have some beverages before making the plunge. Everyone is welcome to join, even if you are not swimming. Might make the Duck Gumbo again to help keep people warm

Hen tube build day
Come join us to help build some mallard hen tubes.
You will be assisting helping build hen tubes and take one home with you to install if wanted.
Lunch will be provided as well as soft drinks

Come join us September 29th at Bridgeview Tavern at 6 PM on Grand Island. We will have membership signups, giveaways, and raffles.
Come talk Duck, join Delta, meet your committee, and win stuff.
For football junkies MNF will be on the TV.
Sporting Clays Fundraiser
Come join us for a fundraising Sporting Clays and membership drive at the NorthStar Sportsman Club in Hilton, NY.
This will be a 50 clay pigeon shoot with additional rounds available for an extra cost.
We will also have access to a 2-story 10 stand, the only one around!
We will have food and refreshments proudly sponsored by 1791 Guns and Ammo in Hilton, NY.
We will have a 50/50 raffle, lottery board, and maybe more!
